For Particulate Matter I paired the Pierre Curie 1905 Nobel lecture on the discovery of Radium with the Sherod Santos poem “Near the Desert Test Sites (Palm Desert, California)” which discusses the impact of nuclear testing on ones perception of the American Southwest.
