Created to serve as a hypothetical interjection into a real magazine, Basin in Bloom discusses the ways the fragile tidal basin ecosystem has been impacted by climate change. These data visualizations discuss the rising tides, early arrival of peak bloom dates and the asynchrony in pollinator emergence and peak bloom.
